supper club.

we have a great group of milwaukee buddies who have become our family here. last year a few of us formed a little dinner group and every 2-3 months try to get together to make good food, share it together, and enjoy lots of laughing and catching up. you know, all the best things in life.

we usually focus the dinner on a theme. some of 2013's favorites: hot dishes and bars (best said with a thick wisconsin accent: we were going for an authentic, church-basement banquet feel), beth's guilty pleasures (for my birthday! so sweet!...sooo it was basically crab rangoons and ice cream, ha), all things grilled, and friendsgiving.

i know we all look forward to these get-togethers and it's become a little piece of our milwaukee life that i love. these people are the best...and the food's usually pretty damn good too.
