cross continental.

yesterday i cam home feeling pretty dejected

after spending hundreds of dollars to

fix my car.

but what did i find upon my arrival?

my first letter from afghanistan!!!!!

i literally squealed out loud 

and continued to make little gasping

noises as i prepared an after school snack, 

admiring my pen pal's handwriting on the envelope

{he held this letter in his hands! he has such cute handwriting!};

it was 4 months coming (the letter was written at the end of june)
and i was going to make the reading of it a special little moment

if it was the last thing i did.

and then i cried through the whole.damn.thing.

hands down, the most beautiful letter anyone 

has ever written to me.

that army captain sure has a way with words,

not to mention a serious hold on my heart.
