a (lame) post with no point.

i think this was about the same time last year when life was pretty busy,

and i needed to reclaim some calm. been doing that the last couple of weeks...

probably subconsciously preparing for the change of seasons, which IS NOT HAPPENING.

this wisconsin winter has almost done me in

{and remember how i'm usually the one dealing with the scrooge?}.

i think we've decided there must be a february getaway planned in advance every year...

if we continue to live above the mason-dixon line.

just the way it has to be.

until then, keeping things bright around here.
flowers seem to be the key to battling this end-of-winter drag.

also, here are some sneak peeks of the upstairs bathroom we revamped
with some paint, shelving, & a few new things.
slowly but surely improving bits & corners of this first little abode.

for such a long blog absence, i don't have much to share in this little spot...

other than the good stuff that's been filling our days...

{aka, day drinking topped off with greasy mexican food and leggings on the couch by 10pm.}

lots of baby time!

listening to: rihanna's stay over & over again {can't stop...such a sucker for her sexy songs}

eating: semi-sweet chocolate chips out of the bag over & over again

making: creamy potato/sausage soup and greek quesadillas over & over again

reading: 5 books at the same time. what's new?

+girlfriend coffee & tea dates

+more yoga
{i think hot yoga is another perfect antidote to cold weather}

+and evening home dates with my roommate when he's done studying...
well, dates with my roommate AND louis CK.

we also booked tickets to fly halfway across the world to turkey & greece in june.
huzzah!
