time before dawn.

i've been thinking about this quote (of brian andreas) since i first read it.

it reminds me of a similar sentiment:

"the work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work 
you should be doing for the rest of your life."

i've been thinking about it because the early morning time--the dawn--has become so sacred to me.
i feel like an old woman, but i have fallen in love with the quiet time i have while
the coffee's brewing, and then with a cup in my hand, before the day officially starts.
i've found those moments are worth climbing out of bed for,
especially on these chilly winter mornings.

it's during this time that i can quickly dream of what i'd do
if i didn't have an office to go to or the 8-5 calling me.

i don't know how realistic that second quote above is,
but it makes me think. makes me seriously consider how i spend my days.
