i know i said the kitchen would be our next stop on the house tour,
but currently our kitchen is covered in spinach, onion, garlic,
cutting board, veggie rinds, olive oil.
you get the idea.
so the downstairs bathroom it is! the guest bathroom!
before that, first thing's first.
a disclaimer.
it gets dark here at 4:30pm.
i leave the house every day when the sun is just barely out.
aka, there is very little (read: no) good time for natural light & picture taking!...
unless it's on the weekends...
and we've been insanely lucky to have so many of our favorite friends
visiting on weekends + fun things going on, etc, etc.
so, if i don't take pictures in the evenings, this little home tour ain't happening.
{bottom line: sorry for the shitty photos/bad lighting.}
enough of that. i give you:
the downstairs guest bathroom.
the tile around the mirror makes a big statement...
definitely not what i would have picked....but, for a big statement,
i actually don't mind it too much.
throw in some pretty towels + little bathroom essentials (and a garden stool! remember this guy?)
and i think it all balances out pretty well.
come stay with us!
and shower in our shower that has terrible pressure/temperature!
(we're working on it...)
next up?
maybe the kitchen. or the library sunroom.
