starting over.

i had started writing a post about summer, way back in september.
i had started writing about how i'm typically always left feeling dazed & confused

when another season arrives, wondering where the time went...

but, for one of the first times,

i feel like we really drank in this past summer and enjoyed every last drop.

i was going to shares some pictures from...

a fabulous june chicago wedding for the best couple, my cousin(s!) maux & will...

...from a camping trip with friends,
lake picnics/runs,

lots of indoor/outdoor dinner parties,

and a trip to the family farm in illinois.

i had started to tell you how i really felt like we made the most of the hot hot & humid summer
(the best kind before a wisconsin winter)
...and how i was really feeling ready & excited for fall.

but now i feel like i watched september whiz by in a blur
as we unpacked every box, cleaned every shelf, and found a home for every last thing we own
(while ridding ourselves of a fair amount too).
ugh.

so i'm back to the dazed & confused bit,
but now that i don't have to pack, unpack, clean, & "settle in" for a loooong time,
i feel like i'm really back. back to this little blogspot i like so much.
and back to all the good stuff.
