i think i'll keep this room pretty simple, especially to highlight the fun light fixture and pretty ceiling molding.
{these are the types of little details we dig in this new space.}
there also isn't a lot of wall space, so deliberating about art on the walls isn't an issue.

for now the paint is fine...it will probably change some day.
it's hard to tell from the pictures, but it's a soft mossy green.

our table is a craigslist purchase and the chairs i repainted white.

we love the original wood windows & built-ins in the house.
again, keeping things simple everywhere else!
maux gave us this little painting as a wedding present.
it's so special, especially because it features a milwaukee backdrop,
including the church we were married in & the old italian villa/mansion where our reception was held.
funnily enough, we took a picture on our wedding day in almost the exact same pose...
and i hung it on the opposite wall without even noticing the similarity at first!
just another good sign.
stay tuned for an upcoming peek into our kicthen!
