i'm coming home.

i'm really finally back.

back to this blog and back to tennessee.

i haven't been this happy and content in a long time.

the sun is shining outside and i truly feel like a fresh new start

to my life is opening up right in front of me.

a new chapter, a slow unraveling of all that's ahead.

yesterday, the fiance & i bid farewell to baltimore

and then oohed and aahed over the blue ridge mountains that
accompanied us for most of the 13 hour journey.

no car trip is complete, of course, without these:

and there was steering wheel pounding/singing along to this song {how fitting}:

and the road trip gods smiled upon us when a hankering
for giant burritos was fulfilled in cookesville, tennessee:

my heart already aches a little for the amazing women who became my family in baltimore...

and i will miss so many things about that experience:
the unique little neighborhoods, the incredible environment of bloomberg, 

and being just a quick walk or drive to the water....
say, for an afternoon drink with your beau.

but it's time to move on...and right now it's time to take a walk in the tennessee sunshine!
