smunchkins everywhere.

new classes of the new term equal more (boring) introductions about areas of MPH interest.

my spiel usually goes something like this: "interested in maternal & child health, disparities, and the link between intrauterine health and chronic disease development later in life. also really interested in the way the built environment and environmental exposures lead to the prevention or development of disease, especially in disadvantaged populations."

translation: "i'm excited to learn about babies this term."

i have a couple of classes all about babies (and their development pre & post birth) and i'm already loving it! good general life knowledge, too.

i'm thinking i need to add this documentary to my netflix for "homework." can't believe i didn't see it. did you?

also, in related baby news, my friend carly sent me this, which i found humorous. barack & the babies look equally uncomfortable!
