i loved this feature on a brentwood, california home in the september issue of lonny magazine. first of all, i love the idea of brentwood (never been there)...probably because it makes me think of a 1970's joan didion & family.
secondly, i'm really digging the white, fresh backdrop + dark wood + pops of greenery & color. our new house has white trim/doors/kitchen cabinets + dark original wood, so i am soaking up this palette and it caught my eye. finally, the designers of this space had 4 months to complete it because the couple was expecting a new baby. how dreamy would it be to demand that your home be fabulously revamped just in time to bring a baby home?
