pardon the absence around these parts.

life has picked up speed a bit with the new on-the-side gig
{hellllo, anthropologie discounts!}
and the newest activity with the husband:
house hunting.
we've spent a lot of our extra time researching, trulia-ing, and
walking through homes in this lovely city of ours.
last sunday a particular bungalow/cottagey-esque house
stole our hearts.
i had literally just been talking over brunch that day about
how i want to buy an espresso machine.
andy questioned whether or not i would actually use it regularly
and i assured him that it would be something kept out on the counter,
available for frequent lattes.
secretly, i was dreaming about having a little coffee bar/nook.
and then, my friends, we walked into this kitchen less than an hour later,
and, whaddoyouknow?,
there was a built-in coffee bar (+ espresso machine)!
was it meant to be??
...after a string of "counters" and amendments to our initial offer,
we're signing a final offer this evening, sending it in, & crossing our fingers.
i'm hoping some celebratory drinks are on the horizon!
update: it's ours! bring on the new espresso machine!
