just came across this again...and, now more than ever,
i'm feeling the need to follow her lead
on my own bathroom counter.
i would insert,
"i can do anything good! i CAN do biostats! i CAN analyze this data!"
{of course followed by a "i like my hair! i like my stuff!" and a concluding hand clap.}
where's the energy of a small child
to complete mounds of work
when you need it?!?

oh bethie--had a nice chuckle imagining your own version of jessica's daily affirmation--you climb up on that bathroom sink in your jammies and YOU exclaim ALL the beautiful and talented things you CAN do (even biostats)! maybe i'll join you...i do like my stuff!
