friday playlist, part II.

friday is all about good music.
last friday i was driving home from work along lake michigan, anticipating seeing my sisters,
and the radio was nailing it with the tunes. it was a happiness trifecta.

here are a few that i've been enjoying lately.
the first two are really good.

i have the day off today and it feels ah-mazing!

i've done the dishes, put laundry in, wiped down the kitchen cupboards that i can't reach (that have been gross since we moved in), wiped down bathroom counter tops, dusted, had an international phone date with emily, organized/cleaned out part of my basement, added to the 'garage sale' pile, purged some documents & recyclables, paid a few bills...and it's only 1:30pm.

you guys, i feel like superwoman.
sometimes you just need ONE day off to get all your shit together.

plus it feels like spring outside! my back kitchen door is wide open!
this makes me insanely happy.

{and look what i spotted? more chartreuse in the kitchen. i'm such a giant (design) nerd...but i love it.}

still left on the list today:
+ paint my nails
+ go on a long walk with claire {with stops at alterra, beans & barley, and american apparel}
 + meet up with claire & morgan for happy hour
 + give andy a kiss when he gets home from work

freaking amazing day.
birthdays followed by days off are the best.
