last weekend i visited my friend mel at her grandparents' place in st. michaels, maryland
on the chesapeake bay.
it was a quick trip, much shorter than i would have liked,
especially since it felt like paradise.
...and a little bit like living inside of a magazine.

Oh girl, we need to get back there soon. Next time, fall retreat. I'm thinking apple picking, hot cider, brisk fall walks and lots of baking. That cool, crisp Maryland air is calling our names!
